FIFA officially confirmed on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, that the winner of the revamped 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will pocket a whopping $125 million in prize money.

The 2025 edition, scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, will feature an expanded 32-team format.

In the latest announcement, FIFA detailed that a total of $1 billion total prize pool will be distributed among all 32 participating clubs.

For the 12 European teams in the lineup, including powerhouses like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea, entry fees alone will start at a minimum of $12.81 million.

These payments will scale up to as much as $38.19 million for top-tier clubs, determined by a ranking system based on “sporting and commercial criteria.”

Teams from Africa, Asia, and the CONCACAF region, will each receive $9.55 million just for participating.

Performance-based bonuses will further boost earnings, with $2 million awarded for group-stage wins, $7.5 million for reaching the round of 16, and a whopping $40 million for the team that triumphs in the final at MetLife Stadium near New York.

The new $125 million prize for 2025 eclipses that figure by a factor of 25, positioning the tournament as a legitimate rival to the Champions League, where winners typically earn around $100 million to $120 million depending on performance and broadcast revenue.
