Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made football history by winning the 2025 Champions League trophy with a stunning 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on May 31, 2025.

The match was played at the Allianz Arena in Germany. It was a night of total control and skill from PSG, who lifted their first-ever Champions League trophy. The win also completed a treble for the French club, after winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France earlier in the season.

Right from the start, PSG showed they meant business. Achraf Hakimi scored the first goal in the 12th minute. Eight minutes later, Désiré Doué added another to make it 2-0 before halftime.

The second half followed the same story. Doué scored again to get his second goal of the night. In the 73rd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia chipped the ball over the goalkeeper for the fourth goal.

Then came the moment for PSG’s young star Senny Mayulu. After playing a one-two with Barcola, he smashed the ball in off the post to seal the 5-0 victory.

This powerful performance helped PSG win the 2025 Champions League trophy in a final that fans will never forget.

PSG’s road to the 2025 Champions League trophy was not easy. The team had come close before but always fell short. One painful memory was the final loss to Bayern Munich in 2020.

But in 2025, PSG turned things around. Under manager Luis Enrique, the team found the right balance between young talent and experienced players. Their journey to the final included big win over Arsenal in the semi final stage of the competition.

This time, there was no heartbreak, just celebrations.

First Champions League, First Treble

This Champions League win means more than just one trophy. It is PSG’s first-ever Champions League title, and it also completed a treble, winning three major trophies in the same season.

PSG had already won the French league title and the French Cup. Now, with the 2025 Champions League trophy added, they join the group of great clubs who have done the treble, like Barcelona and Manchester United.
