“Without me, Trump would have lost the election,” Tech billionaire Elon Musk attacks Trump on Thursday, declaring that the 2024 election victory would have been impossible for President Trump without him.

This is the second time Musk will be criticizing Trump in less than a week.

This development comes amid an ongoing feud between Musk and Trump over the “Big Beautiful Bill”.

Musk said his financial contributions and social media campaigns on X made a key impact in Trump’s 2024 election victory.

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such ingratitude,” Musk wrote in a post responding to Trump’s remarks about him.

Before Elon Musk attacked Trump again on Thursday, the President, while speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, said that he was “very disappointed” by the billionaire’s vocal criticisms of the bill.

The president claimed that Musk knew what was in the bill and “had no problem” with it until the EV incentives had to be cut.

Trump said: “I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here, better than you people. He knew everything about it. He had no problem with it.

“All of a sudden, he had a problem. And he only developed the problem when he found out that we’re going to have to cut the EV mandate.”

However, in a series of tweets, Musk denied the claims, asserting that: “this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!”

Pan-Atlantic Kompass reports that this comes less than a week after Musk stepped down from leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Recall also that days after leaving DOGE, Musk attacked Trump over the “big, beautiful bill” before the Senate.

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” Elon Musk attacks Trump over the bill which has continued to drive controversies in the US Congress.

He also argued that the bill’s spending would increase the “already gigantic budget deficit” and “burden American citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt”.

Pan-Atlantic Kompass also reports that the bill’s full name is the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

It was gathered that the 1,038-page bill rolls together hundreds of proposed changes from tax cuts to changes to social benefits programs.

The bill, when implemented, would raise the U.S. debt ceiling from $4 trillion to $40 trillion.
