United States President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning on Sunday, promising the full strength and might of a U.S. attack against Iran for any aggression against American soil or interests.
Trump issued this warning while reiterating that the U.S. was not connected to Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear and intelligence facilities.
He made this known in a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday.
“The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight. If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” he wrote on the Truth Social site.
He added that “we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”
Trump’s threats of U.S. attack against Iran come after the Middle Eastern country’s initial threat.
Iran had threatened to attack the bases of the U.S., the United Kingdom, and France if they supported Israel in the ongoing conflict.
Reiterating the stance, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that the government of the country had evidence to show U.S. forces allegedly supported the intense bombardment campaign Israel launched against the Iran.
“We have solid proof of the support of the American forces and American bases in the region for the attacks of the Zionist regime military forces,” Araghchi told foreign diplomats in a meeting broadcast on state TV.
Pan-Atlantic Kompass reports that this comes after the escalation of conflict between Israel and Iran.
On June 12, 2025, Israel launched a massive offensive dubbed “Operation Rising Lion,” targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, ballistic missile sites, and key military figures.
Over 200 Israeli fighter jets pounded more than 100 targets, including the Natanz enrichment facility and military bases in Tehran, Isfahan, and Kermanshah.
Iran retaliated swiftly, firing over 280 ballistic missiles at Israel since Friday, June 13. While Israel’s Iron Dome claimed it intercepted most, some missiles reportedly struck civilian areas.
