Chelsea vs. PSG: Prize Money for 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final Revealed

As Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are set to clash at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, the prize money for the final match has been unveiled.

According to reports, the two clubs have already pocketed $30 million for entering the final, which will be played at the MetLife Stadium on July 13.

The winner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup trophy will reportedly earn an extra $10 million. This means the winner of the Club World Cup final will reportedly earn a total of $40 million, with the runners-up securing $30 million.

This payout is part of a record-breaking $1 billion prize pool which has boosted the tournament’s status as the richest in club football history. Already, both Chelsea and PSG have pocketed about $100 million on their way to the Club World Cup final.

Pan-Atlantic Kompass reports that Chelsea’s journey to the final began in Group D, where they defeated Tunisian side ES Tunis and MLS club Los Angeles FC. Despite losing to Flamengo from Brazil, the Blues went on to the round of 16.

In the round of 16, Chelsea faced Benfica and defeated them 4-1, qualifying for the Quarter-final where they face Palmeiras. Chelsea also overcame the tie, defeating Palmeiras 2-1. This secured their spot in the semi-final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. In the semi-final, Chelsea defeated Fluminense 2-0 to become a finalist in the first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup.

PSG, the reigning UEFA Champions League champions, have also been an unstoppable force en route to the final. They topped Group B and have been a dominant force ever since.

In the Round of 16, they thrashed Inter Miami 4-0, followed by a solid 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the quarters, and then completely dismantled Real Madrid 4-0 in the semifinals.

With a star-studded squad and free-flowing football, Luis Enrique’s team arrives as the clear favorite. Already reigning Champions League winners, PSG are now chasing a historic sextuple.
