The Super Falcons showcased their attacking prowess on July 18, 2025, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.

The nine-time champions began the match with an early goal from veteran defender Osinachi Ohale just two minutes in.

The Super Falcons’ WAFCON semifinals journey gained momentum in the 33rd minute when captain Rasheedat Ajibade found Okoronkwo, who controlled the ball with her chest before firing past Zambia’s goalkeeper, Musole.

The first half concluded with Chinwendu Ihezuo slotting home a third goal in the 45th minute, capitalizing on a precise through ball.

Nigeria’s relentless pressure continued in the second half. Tosin Demehin added a fourth goal in the 58th minute, heading in another assist from Okoronkwo, while substitute Folashade Ijamilusi sealed the 5-0 rout in stoppage time, converting a cross from Ajibade.

Nigeria has now gone four matches without conceding a single goal, while also making it a record 13th semi-final appearance in the tournament.
