[FULL LIST] Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Others Bag Nominations for 2026 Grammy Awards

The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been officially unveiled on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Nigerian heavyweights and Afrobeats stars Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid, have all secured nominations.

Burna Boy received two nominations and has broken a record becoming the first Nigerian to bag 5 Grammy album nominations in 5 consecutive years

Other Nigerian stars who received nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards include Davido, Omah Lay, Ayra Starr, and Wizkid, alongside continental heavyweights such as Angélique Kidjo (Benin), Eddy Kenzo (Uganda), Tyla (South Africa), and Youssou N’Dour (Senegal).

In the Best African Music Performance category, Nigeria dominated with “Love” by Burna Boy, “With You” by Davido featuring Omah Lay, and “Gimme Dat” by Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid* all nominated.

Internationally, Kendrick Lamar, for the second year running, topped nominations. He received nine nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards. 

Meanwhile, the 2026 Grammy Awards night is scheduled for Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States.
