The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly uncovered N212 billion worth of properties linked to the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.

Recent court filings and investigative reports released on December 24, 2025, reveal a portfolio of assets valued at N212.89 billion.

These properties, spanning across Kebbi, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are now at the center of a 16-count money laundering charge filed by the Federal Government against the former minister and his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami.

According to reports, the anti-graft agency uncovered the N212 billion worth of properties after an investigation into the former AGF’s finances intensified.

The breakdown of the  N212 billion worth of properties showed that the Minister has assets worth N162.2 billion, including the Rayhaan University permanent site (N56bn) and various agro-allied factories in Kebbi State.

In Kano State, properties are valued at N16.01 billion, featuring luxury hotels and residential buildings while in Abuja (FCT), they are prime real estate worth N34.68 billion, including high-end duplexes in Maitama and hotels in Jabi.

It was also gathered that investigators are also scrutinizing the use of corporate fronts like Metropolitan Auto Tech Limited and Meethaq Hotels Limited, which were allegedly used to disguise the origin of these funds between 2015 and 2025.

Below is the full list of the properties linked to Malami.
