The second round of the UEFA Champions League saw Barcelona and Inter Milan play out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Inter Milan struck first, stunning the Catalan giants just 30 seconds into the Champions League semi-final match.

Marcus Thuram capitalized on a poor clearance from Jules Kounde, flicking a Denzel Dumfries cross past goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to score the fastest goal in Champions League semifinal history.

The Nerazzurri doubled their lead in the 21st minute when Dumfries headed home.

Barcelona, however, roared back into the game as Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old, pulled one back in the 24th minute with a brilliant strike.

Ferran Torres then levelled the score in the 38th minute, finishing off a well-orchestrated move to send the home crowd into a frenzy.

The second half saw Inter regain the lead through Dumfries’ second goal in the 63rd minute, but Barcelona responded instantly.

Raphinha’s long-range rocket deflected off Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer, resulting in an own goal that restored parity at 3-3.

Despite both teams pushing for a winner, the match ended in a draw.

Barcelona will now head to Inter Milan’s stadium to seek a place in the UEFA Champions League final while Inter Milan will hope to defeat Barcelona on its turf.
